Robot Vacuum Docking Station and Washing Station Repair in Tallinn

Is Your Robot Vacuum Docking Station Not Working?

Has your robot vacuum stopped charging, or does its docking station fail to wash the mop pads, extract dirty water, supply clean water or complete its self-cleaning cycle?

At the independent ARVUTIABI-ESOFT OÜ repair workshop in Tallinn, we diagnose and repair robot vacuum docking stations, charging bases and multifunctional washing stations.

A modern self-maintenance station is a complex device that combines a charging system, pumps, water-level sensors, valves, electric motors, heating elements and electronic control boards. A fault in just one component can disrupt the operation of the entire system.

Our aim is to identify the cause of the fault and restore the station to working order whenever repair is technically feasible and economically justified.

Which Docking Station Faults Do We Repair?

1. The docking station does not supply clean water.

The robot no longer mops the floor, water does not reach the mop pads, or the station reports an empty clean-water tank even when it is full. We check the water supply pump, valves, tubes, sensors and control electronics.

2. Dirty water is not being extracted.

Water remains in the washing tray after the mop pads are washed, the dirty-water tank does not fill, or a drainage error appears. Possible causes include blocked channels, a faulty pump, leaks or sensor failure.

3. Automatic mop washing is not working.

The station does not start the cleaning cycle, stops during washing, or does not clean the mop pads properly. We inspect the washing mechanism, water supply and drainage systems, drive components and electronic controls.

4. Automatic dust emptying is not working.

The robot returns to the base, but its dustbin is not emptied, debris remains inside, or an unusual noise is heard. We inspect the air ducts, dust bag, dust-extraction fan and its power supply circuits.

5. The docking station does not dry the mop pads.

There is no airflow, the heating function does not turn on, or drying stops prematurely. Depending on the model, we check the fan, heating unit, temperature sensors and control circuits.

6. The robot vacuum does not charge at the station.

The robot cannot detect the dock, charging is interrupted, or charging does not start at all. We check the charging contacts, power supply, connectors, wiring and electronic components of the charging system.

7. The docking station does not power on or displays an error.

There are no status lights, the station does not respond when connected to the mains, fails to detect its water tanks, or reports a fault. We inspect the power supply circuits, sensors, connectors and control board.

Component-Level Electronics Repair for Docking Stations

Not every fault requires replacing the entire expensive docking station or its electronic module.

At ARVUTIABI-ESOFT OÜ, we assess the possibility of repairing individual components, including power supply circuits, contacts, connectors, damaged connections and control board components.

If the fault is related to the mechanical or water-handling system, we inspect the relevant pumps, valves, tubes, seals and drive mechanisms.

The decision to repair or replace parts is made after diagnostics, taking into account the design of the specific model and the availability of spare parts.

Roborock, Dreame, Xiaomi and Ecovacs Station Repair

We accept docking and washing stations from popular manufacturers for diagnostics:

Roborock — charging bases, RockDock stations and multifunctional self-maintenance systems.

Dreame — stations with automatic mop washing, drying and dust emptying.

Xiaomi — charging and washing stations for compatible Xiaomi Robot Vacuum models.

Ecovacs Deebot — OMNI stations with automatic cleaning and mop maintenance.

Whether a specific model can be repaired is determined after checking its design and the nature of the fault.

How Do We Diagnose and Repair a Docking Station?

First, we check the reported fault, the power supply and how the station interacts with the robot. If necessary, we then diagnose electronic boards, pumps, sensors and actuators.

Once the cause of the fault has been identified, we agree on the repair cost and any required spare parts with the customer.

After completing the work, we test the restored functions of the station, including charging, washing, water supply and drainage, depending on the device’s features.

Diagnostics are free if the customer agrees to proceed with the repair.

If the robot does not charge, does not mop the floor or does not interact correctly with its base, we recommend bringing both the robot vacuum and the docking station so that their operation can be tested together.

Frequently Asked Questions about Robot Vacuum Repair (FAQ)

Most often the problem is a worn battery, oxidized contacts, faulty charging dock, or damaged power board. We perform diagnostics, identify the cause, and replace the necessary components.

Causes may include worn wheel modules, dirty gearboxes, torn ribbon cables, or debris blockage. We disassemble the device, clean the drive units, and replace mechanical parts if needed.

This can be caused by debris in the turbine, worn bearings, damaged motor, or gearbox issues. After diagnostics, we eliminate the noise source and restore quiet operation.

A shorter runtime or shutdown under load can indicate battery wear, but charging contacts, the dock and power electronics may cause similar symptoms. We check the charging system before recommending a replacement battery.

Usually due to faulty LDS lidar, dirty sensors, navigation failure, or damaged board. We calibrate sensors, clean optics, and restore the navigation module.

Error codes depend on the brand and model. They can point to a sensor, lidar, wheel, motor or another system. Send us the exact model and error message; diagnosis establishes the cause rather than relying on the code alone.

A repair may be possible, depending on the damage. Switch the robot off and do not try to charge it. We inspect the electronics for moisture damage and corrosion before explaining the repair options.

Most often caused by firmware glitches, communication module issues, or incorrect network settings. We configure Wi-Fi, update firmware, and fully restore software.

Yes. Empty the dust container and clean the brushes, filters and sensors according to the instructions for your model. Professional cleaning may be needed when dirt builds up inside the device or suction remains weak.

Diagnostics typically take one day, and many repairs take one to three days. These are estimates, not a fixed deadline. The actual timing depends on the fault and parts availability; the workshop confirms it for your device.

For charging, mop-washing, water-supply or automatic-emptying problems, bring the robot and docking station together. This lets us check their interaction and identify which part is faulty.

We assess whether the board can be repaired at component level, including power circuits, damaged connectors and control components. The decision depends on the diagnosed fault, the model and parts availability.

The prices shown are starting prices. After diagnosis, we discuss the required work and parts with you before carrying out a paid repair. The docking-station section explains its diagnostic offer and conditions.
